The Radio Dept. - Passive Aggressive (Singles 2002-2010)

You may not find a more well-timed release than the new singles/b-sides collection from The Radio Dept.. Fresh off last year's Clinging To A Scheme, the shy Swedes are kicking off their most extensive US tour to date on Tuesday. Despite enjoying critical acclaim since their Lesser Matters debut in 2003, the band's lack of tour $upport has limited them to three extremely brief sets of US dates, none of which penetrated beyond the coasts (according to their own gigography, they went nearly 6 years between US performances). To capitalize on increased visibility, longtime label Labrador has just released a 2-CD set of singles, giving the A and B sides their own disc. Here's an instant ccllection for a band whose releases haven't always been the easiest to find. A comprehensive introduction and an essential release. Buy it: Labrador, iTunes.

  1. I've never heard of The Radio Dept and they are perfectly accenting my morning. It's exactly what I wanted to hear on this cold snowy Friday morning.
